Katie is the foundation lady of GrizzMuffley
Bullmastiffs along with her big 'sister' - Dottie
the Rottie. Katie is the 'Muffley' half - because
of her very well developed snoring ability.
A fabulous topline, substantial frame and boning,
pigment, beautiful movement, tight cat feet ('Katie
Katie Cat Feet'), angulation and wonderfully level
mouth are just some of Katie's attributes. It's just
a shame that we learnt about correct ear set when
it was too late to fix Katie's ears into place!!
Katie
was a power house who's favourite past times include
checking if the dinner plates are clean enough (leave
the pattern on them Katie!!), cuddling with Stacey,
being made a 'Katie sandwich' between Brendan and
Stacey, chasing possums up trees and planning how
she could liberate the chooks from the hen house.
She also had a well developed addiction to lizards,
sleeping on the futon and helping herself onto the
spare bed.
We owe the wonderful start we have had in Bullmastiffs
to Katie, who presented us with our first two litters,
laying the foundation for future strength and success.
Thank you 'Chi Chi Mumma' - we love you immensely,
you were such a wonderful girl and we are blessed
to be so loved by you. You gave the best kisses, the
best hand shakes and sang the most wonderful songs.
We love you Mummy Katie and when Daddy called 'come
here you old wombat', know that he did it with a heart
full of love and pride. To know you was to love you
sweetheart. |

Katie
was finally shown as a Veteran at the Bullmastiff
Club of NSW Easter Show 2008. Our hearts have never
been fuller, our chests more swelled with pride, and
our eyes more brimming with the tears of love and
emotion, than to be able to show our friends and peers
how magnificent you are and to be able to share your
story. You did such a good job going around that ring
Katie Bear. So proud of you and so thankful that you
are our 'Mummy'.
