The Rottie
27-Apr-1997 to 01-Mar-2006
"When Angels visit Earth, this is what they look
like."
Dottie
the Rottie was the "Grizz" in GrizzMuffley.
Even though she was not a Bullmastiff and they are
our focus in breeding, she is half of the foundation
of GrizzMuffley, along with Katie. This is because
her temperament was an inspiration to us and a reminder
of the way we want GrizzMuffley puppies to turn out
- lovely social well balanced dogs that are a pleasure
to have in your family.
Dottie came into our family at 3 weeks of age as Stacey's
bottle fed baby, as her mother was not feeding them
from 2 weeks of age. She was proud Aunty to the Bullmastiff
Kids and big sister to Katie. Her favourite past time
was guarding the fire from her chosen spot on her
lamb's wool bed or sorting those darn bullmastiffs
out when they got too big for their boots. Dottie
was on a permanent mission to get Stacey out of the
water bed so she could get into it with Brendan, her
'Daddy'. She occupies a very special place in our
hearts and after a short fight with bone cancer, returned
home to Heaven surrounded by those who loved her and
who are now very much poorer for the loss of her.
Everytime we hear the song "Always something
there to remind me", we think of you baby. Everywhere
we turn, there is a memory of our precious girl.
She was affectionately known to us as 'Angel Face'.
Unique, special and truly a one of a kind girl to
be cared for by.
Our
hearts beat because you taught them how to Dottie.
You are always adored and worshipped. We strive always
to be worthy of you and true to your love. Miss you
so my Angel Face. |
